I remember a long time ago when I was a little girl, I had the most vivid imagination EVER! I was always dressing up, making up plays, teaching school to all of my dolls, bossing around my little brother AND the kids in the neighborhood, and of course making up secret potions!!
I remember one day when my mother was cleaning the house, I was making one of my potions in the kitchen. (I think it was lemonade/milk/butter and maybe garlic powder or something). Anyway, I remember she called to me from the living room "Naomi! What are you doing in there?" And I (knowing that she would not be impressed of course) said "nothing!" Later that night after my brother and I were in our PJ's my mother called out to me "Naomi! Come here!" I KNEW I was done for!!! I remember walking into the living room and there was my mother holding a glass of my concoction in her hand. "What is this?" She asked. I told her it was my secret potion. Then she asked me why it was on the heater, and I replied that it was "cooking." - I don't really remember what happened after that, except for the fact that she threw it out. I also don't really know what I was gonna do with the "secret potion" after it "cooked" but I was always doing things like that........
Lol that is hilarious, I too had an imagination that would get me into a lot of trouble by my mother. She was never impressed with my creations and how I went about making them. But that story is too cute. Thanks for sharing that wiht us :)
